About Butterfly Oasis
Our Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an outdoor area?
Yes! Seniors enjoy beautiful views of landscaped trees, flowering bushes, and a gorgeous garden. Wheelchair accessible areas include a backyard with a privacy fence, a covered deck with lighting and fans with lots of room for outdoor cookouts.
What are the bedrooms like?
Each of the six private bedrooms offers a flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player, electric hospital bed, and an electric reclining chair. We encourage our residents to decorate their rooms in a way that will make them feel most at home.
Are there common areas?
Inside, there’s a large living room, eat-in kitchen, and dining room. Large picturesque windows bring an abundance of light into living spaces.
Are staff members experienced?
Our founder, Theresa, provides over 20 years of nursing experience. She lives on the premise with her husband to deliver compassionate, 24-hour care. We also have four resident assistants on staff.
Are there opportunities for activities?
Of course — we know how to have fun here! We play bingo, bean bag tic-tac-toe, memory games, board games, and more!
What about exercise?
To get active, we adhere to orders provided by a professional physical therapist, who visits regularly. We often stretch and reach, practice mediation, and exercise range of motion.
What are the cleanliness standards?
Rooms are cleaned daily, and the bedding is changed weekly. Residents bathe daily and enjoy a once-a-week spa day.
What do seniors do for meals?
We take care of it! We cook a variety of healthy, fresh meals (roasts, stews, casseroles, soups, sandwiches, and more), and we keep a variety of residents’ favorites on-hand. We’ll also occasionally order delivery or take-out.
What caregiving services do you provide?
Our resident’s well-being is what’s most essential to us. We provide assisted care to total care. This includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, doctor visits, and hospice care, if necessary.
What about cost?
Payment is due at the start of each month and includes everything except medical fees, co-pays, and prescriptions.
